Harbin Authorities Imposed New Restrictions because of COVID-19
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 22, China News agency reported that restrictive measures have been introduced in Chinese city of Harbin to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
According to journalists, the city authorities banned entry for all vehicles without local number plates. In addition, people who do not live in its territory cannot get into Harbin. Local residents must have a QR code on the telephone, which confirms that they are healthy, to move from district to district. They have no right to go outside without medical masks.
In Harbin, the administrative center of the Heilongjiang Province, about 10 million people live. Currently, 52 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the city.
Earlier, Harbin authorities have already introduced a 28-day quarantine for those who came from abroad.
