OREANDA-NEWS. Until July 1, the Swedish company H&M will apply labeling codes to the entire assortment of shoes that went on sale on the Russian market. This was reported on Monday in the press service of the labeling operator at the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies.

“In accordance with the requirements of the legislation, our company is in the process of marking the entire assortment of shoes by July 1, 2020”, the organization quotes the words of H&M representative in Russia Yulia Bulgakova. The organization noted that since H&M acts both as an importer and as a seller, labeling took place according to a simplified scheme.

According to a government decree, from July 1, 2020, the production, import, wholesale and retail sale of shoes without marking in Russia will become impossible. With this date, the transfer of information about the movement of goods to the Honest Sign system is also mandatory.
