Gazprom has increased gas pumping to Europe through Ukraine

OREANDA-NEWS On April 17, Gazprom increased the pumping of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine to 40.8 million cubic meters. m per day, writes RBC with reference to the company's press service. The energy resource is supplied in a confirmed volume through the gas measuring station (GIS) "Sudzha".
On April 16, the pumping volume amounted to 38.5 million cubic meters, on April 15 it was also planned to supply 38.5 million cubic meters, and on April 14, 41.7 million cubic meters of gas were supplied through GIS "Sudzha".
The total rate of gas injection into underground storage facilities in Europe in April decreased by 31% compared to last year's figures. The average gas price in the European Union has been around $500 per 1,000 cubic meters since the beginning of April.
The company reduced gas transit in January, and gradually increased it in February. In mid-February, the volume of pumping through GIS "Sudzha" amounted to 30.8 million cubic meters compared to 24.5 million cubic meters on January 31.
Earlier it was reported that Gazprom's net profit in 2022 amounted to 747.25 billion rubles, which is 72.2% less than at the end of 2021. At the same time, the company's revenue in 2022 increased by 24.9% to 7.98 trillion rubles. By the end of 2021, Gazprom received a record net profit of 2.64 trillion rubles.
