OREANDA-NEWS  Among the prisoners captured by the Armed Forces of Russia, there are foreign mercenaries. This was told by the head of the Russian administration of the Kharkiv region Vitaly Ganchev, RIA Novosti writes.

According to him, he received information from the Russian military that "among the prisoners of war were, as they say, foreign mercenaries." Ganchev said that the fact of their being in captivity had been confirmed before.

The head of the Russian administration added that the competent authorities will have to find out whether they are mercenaries or representatives of regular NATO troops.
