FSB of Russia Reported of an Attempt of the Security Service of Ukraine to Kidnap Donbass Militia Leader
OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia prevented the Security Service of Ukraine from kidnapping and removing from Russia one of the leaders of the Donbass militia.
This is stated in a press release from the agency. “As a result of the special operation, an illegal action by the Ukrainian special services on the abduction of a citizen of the Russian Federation on the territory of Russia and the forcible transfer to Ukraine of a citizen of the Russian Federation was discovered and suppressed,” the message reads.
It is noted that the mentioned man was one of the leaders of the Donbass militia and took an active part in hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine. His name is not indicated.
During the attempted abduction, seven citizens of Russia were detained. According to FSB, the organizer of the crime is Andrey Baidala, the coordinator is Igor Mishchenko (both are the citizens of Ukraine).
