OREANDA-NEWS. A resident of the city of Neftekamsk (Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia) was detained for preparing to commit a terrorist attack using an incendiary mixture.

This was reported by TASS news agency with reference to the press service of the regional department of the Federal Security Service (FSB). “Employees of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan revealed the intentions of a resident of Neftekamsk to commit a terrorist act by setting fire to the building of the city district administration using an improvised incendiary device,” the message says.

The FSB added that the man intended to destabilize the work of state authorities. Criminal cases have been initiated against him under articles on a terrorist act and public calls for terrorist activities.

The detainee has already given testimony. During the searches, his computer, communication means, as well as information about the preparation of a terrorist attack, a video with the manufacturing and testing of incendiary mixtures, were confiscated.
