OREANDA-NEWS  The FSB detained nine saboteurs of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) for preparing terrorist attacks against employees of the administration of the Kherson region. On Monday, November 8, RIA Novosti reports.

All the defendants are citizens of Ukraine. Their curators, SBU officers Samir Shukyurov, Viktor Khomyak and Dmitry With an idea, are hiding outside Russia. Grenades, three improvised explosive devices (IEDs), electric detonators, small arms and five kilograms of plastid were seized from accomplices.

Also, FSB officers defused a car bomb, with which members of a sabotage and reconnaissance group were going to make an attempt on representatives of the regional authorities.

A case was opened against the men under Article 361 ("Act of international terrorism") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. By the court's decision, they were sent to a pre-trial detention center.
