As indicated in the text of the law, a pension can be assigned six months before the new retirement age.

Benefits can benefit people who retire in 2019 and 2020. Accordingly, this year, women of 1964-1965 of birth and men of 1959-1960 of birth will be able to retire earlier.

The retirement age in Russia was raised from January 1, 2019. For men, he grew from 60 to 65 years, for women - from 55 to 60 years. The increase in the retirement age is carried out in stages and will be completed in 2028.

In May, the State Duma introduced a bill that gives the right to receive non-state pensions for women at the age of 55, and for men at the age of 60.
