OREANDA-NEWS  There is no flare gorenje, which began last Thursday at the oil terminal in Feodosia (Crimea), said the head of the city administration Igor Tkachenko.

Gorenje said: "There is no flare burning on the territory of the oil terminal at 8 a.m. The situation has stabilized and is completely under control," Tkachenko wrote on his telegram channel on Friday.

He also said that the services are working to eliminate the consequences of the fire. Rospotrebnadzor constantly monitors the air quality in the fire area.

"As of 6 o'clock this morning, no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations were registered," the head of the administration said.

On Thursday evening, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that a release of combustible materials occurred at one of the terminals of the oil depot in Feodosia. The evacuation zone did not increase.

A fire at an oil depot in Feodosia occurred on the morning of October 7, no injuries were reported. In connection with the incident, traffic restrictions continue to apply along the Kerch Highway, Geologicheskaya Street and Fedko Street, which run along the border of the facility. A man-made emergency regime of the municipal level has been introduced in the city, more than a thousand residents of surrounding houses have been evicted.
