OREANDA-NEWS  The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has sent requests to 19 large flour producers to analyze the validity of the prices they set for products, the agency reports.

"In connection with information in the media and appeals from bakery enterprises received by the department, the FAS of Russia sent requests to 19 large flour producers to analyze the validity of the prices they set for these products," the message says.

It is specified that manufacturers will provide the service with information on production volumes, sales, weighted average cost and wholesale selling price of flour from 2023. After analyzing the information received, in case of detection of signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation, the FAS will take response measures.
