OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Antimonopoly Service is ready to take antitrust measures if Yandex does not resolve issues on taxi fares, Stanislav Kotelnikov, head of the Information Technology Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service's Communications and Information Technology Regulation Department, said at a round table on problems in this industry.
"We have a dialogue with Yandex on tariffs, we have some questions about them. Accordingly, we assume that in the near future we will somehow begin to clarify these issues ... If we cannot find any adequate solution, then methods of antimonopoly response will be adopted," Kotelnikov said.
On Wednesday, the FAS announced the easing of the moratorium on antitrust inspections of IT companies, the government decree will come into force on March 28. The Ministry of Finance clarified that only unscheduled inspections will be allowed, that is, if there are complaints, and only those companies that own large digital platforms.
