OREANDA-NEWS The District Administrative Court of Kiev will consider on Wednesday, February 16, the claim of the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych about the illegality of his removal from power.

"On February 16, at 10:15 (11:15 Moscow time), a court hearing is scheduled in the District Administrative Court of Kiev on the claim of Viktor Yanukovych to the Verkhovna Rada on the establishment of her lack of competence (authority) to adopt acts on the self—removal of the President of Ukraine," Olga Sovgirya, permanent representative of the Verkhovna Rada in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, deputy of the Servant of the People faction, said in her Telegram channel.

According to her, earlier the Rada filed petitions with the court demanding to leave the claim without consideration, to close the case due to the absence of the subject composition of the parties, and also to recognize that this dispute is not subject to judicial proceedings.

In addition, the Rada sent an application for the recusal of Judge Igor Kachura, since he was part of the Yanukovych government, where he held the position of Deputy Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine.

Sovgir clarified that data on the results of consideration of petitions has not yet been received.

Earlier, Politico, citing sources, reported that US President Joe Biden, at talks with NATO and other allies, called February 16 the likely date of Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine.
