Erdogan arrived in Sochi for talks with Putin, Turkish media write

OREANDA-NEWS The plane of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan landed in Sochi, where talks with Vladimir Putin will be held today, the Star newspaper reported, citing its correspondent.
"President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Russia at 12:15 on a TUR plane on a one—day working visit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin," the publication says.
At the airport, Erdogan was met by the Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Krai Alexander Ruppel, Sochi Mayor Alexey Kopaygorodsky, Director of the State Protocol Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Igor Bogdashev, Turkish Ambassador to Moscow Mehmet Samsar.
According to Turkish media, high-level talks may begin around 13:00.
This will be the first personal meeting between Putin and Erdogan after almost a year break. The presidents are expected to discuss the situation around the Black Sea grain deal, the situation in Ukraine and other issues.
As the Milliyet newspaper wrote, citing sources, the Turkish leader is going to offer his Russian counterpart the services of a mediator to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
In addition, according to the Hürriyet newspaper, Ankara is approaching the topic of resuming the grain deal with "cautious hope".
