OREANDA-NEWS  The state of emergency (emergency) was introduced on the territory of the entire Khabarovsk Territory due to fires. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Mikhail Degtyarev, according to the website of the government of the Russian region.

"Now several northern districts are covered by forest fires in the Khabarovsk Territory: Ayano-Maysky and Okhotsky. One fire is active in the Lazo district in the south of the region. The fires are located mainly in remote mountainous areas," the government said.

They added that in order to extinguish the fire on such a landscape, a constant transfer of forces over long distances and the help of aviation is needed. According to the Minister of Forestry and Timber Processing of the region Maxim Gulko, forecasters do not promise changes in weather conditions that can simplify the situation.

Earlier, the emergency regime was introduced in the Kazachinsko-Lena district of the Irkutsk region due to heavy rains and floods. In the area, due to heavy rains, the Ust-Kut — Uoyan highway was washed away, traffic on it was suspended.
