OREANDA-NEWS  The number of visitors to the Elbrus resort in the ski season of 2022-2023 reached about 440 thousand, which is almost 30% more than in the previous period. This was announced to journalists on Friday by the General Director of JSC Kavkaz.RF" Andrey Yumshanov.

"From year to year we see that our resort is developing, a large number of tourists visit, 440 thousand tourists visited almost this nine-month season. That's quite a lot. This is almost 100 thousand more compared to last year," Yumshanov said.

According to him, the infrastructure of the resort will develop. There are plans to increase the capacity of the cable car. This year, it is planned to commission two more cable cars and expand the trails.

""Opportunities for tourists to expand in the next ski season. <...> We are aiming for a total of 1 million tourists a year. We believe that this indicator is absolutely realistic," the CEO added.
