OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian striker of the Tolyatti Akron, Artyom Dzyuba, spoke about the request to Russian President Vladimir Putin. His words are quoted by Sport24.

The footballer said that he would ask Putin to cancel the Fan ID. "I want the young guys, and I, in my old age, to feel the atmosphere of a full stadium," he stressed.

Earlier, the president of the Russian Premier League (RFPL), Alexander Alaev, spoke about methods to combat low match attendance. He allowed fines to be imposed on clubs for a low percentage of viewers.

In December 2021, the State Duma passed a law on Fan ID. To enter the stands for the RPL matches, every fan must have a personalized spectator card. In response to this decision, active fans of the RPL clubs, except for the Grozny "Akhmat", announced a boycott of league matches.
