OREANDA-NEWS By the end of 2030, Russia plans to eliminate dozens of environmentally hazardous facilities. This is reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta. This is provided for by the new provisions of the state program "Environmental Protection".

We are talking about at least 50 objects. The lists will be compiled in the near future, the list will be approved in the federal project "General Cleaning". The regions will receive subsidies for liquidation. The most environmentally hazardous facilities will be eliminated first.

Earlier it became known that in Bashkiria, within the framework of the national project "Ecology", six unauthorized landfills are going to be eliminated by the end of 2024. It is expected that as a result of the elimination of landfills in the region, the quality of life of 468 thousand people will improve.
