OREANDA-NEWS. The West benefits from a protracted conflict in Ukraine, political analyst Alexei Bychkov believes. In a conversation with Argumenty Nedeli, he noted that the current leadership of the country is also interested in this - Kyiv does not want to sign a peace treaty, to negotiate an end to the conflict.

“There is a clear task set by the curators of the government in Kyiv - the conduct of the war and the destruction of as many Slavs, Russians as possible. The goal of this company is to undermine the internal political situation, both in Ukraine and in Russia,” Bychkov suggested.

The political scientist pointed out that the West is trying to "undermine the situation" by dragging out the conflict for a long time. This is the reason for the pumping of Kyiv with weapons.
