On October 12, the press service of the Defense Army of the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh reported that during the last 24 hours, all attempts of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan to change the tactical situation at the front in the zone of the conflict in their favour were suppressed. The advanced military units suffered great losses in manpower and equipment.

It is noted that a stable tense situation persisted throughout the entire front line last night. The greatest activity from the side of Azerbaijan was observed in the northern, northeastern and southern directions.

Early on Monday morning, the Azerbaijani troops opened artillery fire on the Armenian positions, which was suppressed by the forces of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army, the press service added.
