Crimea to file new lawsuits against Ukraine over water blockade

OREANDA-NEWS New lawsuits on the water blockade will be prepared in Crimea, they will be filed by individuals and legal entities affected by the actions of Ukraine, said the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov.
Earlier it was reported that the Arbitration Court of Crimea will begin on September 13 consideration of the merits of the first claim for damage to the budget of the republic from the water blockade of the peninsula. The amount of claims against Kiev is more than 152 billion rubles.
"At a meeting with the heads and representatives of legal entities, including the Armenian branch of Titanium Investments LLC, the Crimean Soda Plant and the Brom plant, the procedure for preparing a claim to the Arbitration Court was explained. It is important for us that the heads of enterprises supported our initiative and expressed their readiness to prepare their own lawsuits," Konstantinov wrote in his telegram channel.
At the same time, according to him, work is also being carried out with individuals whose activities are confined to the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Crimea.
"In parallel, information is being collected and analyzed to determine the amount of damage that will be reflected in a class action from individuals," the head of the Crimean parliament stressed.
