From 17 to 19 September elections were held in Russia at various levels. Citizens had to elect deputies of the State Duma of the VIII convocation, heads of nine constituent entities of the Russian Federation and deputies of legislative assemblies. Also these days municipal elections were held.

The Central Election Commission of Russia has counted 100% of the votes in the elections to the State Duma. United Russia has a constitutional majority. As a result of processing all the protocols, United Russia received 49.82% of the vote, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation - 18.93%, the Liberal Democratic Party - 7.55%, A Just Russia - For the Truth - 7.46%, New People - 5.32%. The rest of the parties do not enter the Russian parliament.
