OREANDA-NEWS Canada will join the coalition for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated by the head of the Canadian Ministry of Defense, Bill Blair, on his account on the social network X (former Twitter).
"We must stay with Ukraine. That's why I announced today that Canada is joining the drone coalition for Ukraine, which is led by Latvia and the United Kingdom," the politician said.
On February 20, it became known about Ottawa's plans to send Kiev more than 800 SkyRanger K70 drones worth more than $ 95 million. It is assumed that the first batches of UAVs will arrive in Ukraine in the spring, but the exact delivery dates are not reported.
