OREANDA-NEWS  The Canadian authorities announced the introduction of additional anti-Russian sanctions, in particular against companies "involved in disinformation and propaganda operations," the Canadian Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

The sanctions lists include, in particular, Rossiyskaya Gazeta and the St. Petersburg TV channel.

Pobeda Airlines is among the companies against which restrictions have been imposed.

The sanctions list of individuals includes the famous hockey goalkeeper Vladislav Tretyak and the head of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina.

Sanctions have also been imposed against Russian military-industrial complex companies that supply key technologies and electronic components for the Russian special operation.

"The sanctions target companies associated with circumvention of sanctions, which facilitates Russia's access to sanctioned goods or oil revenues above the G7 price ceiling," the press release says.

In addition, according to the statement, the sanctions include a ban on exports to Russia of goods related to CNC (numerical control) machines.
