OREANDA-NEWS. Concern Belneftekhim did not make decisions on restricting the supply of petroleum products to the networks of Russian gas stations in Belarus. This was stated to the Russian media on Wednesday by Belneftekhim spokesman Alexander Tishchenko.
“Belneftekhim Concern did not limit the supply of petroleum products to the networks of Russian gas stations, despite the difficult situation with oil supplies to the republic”, the press secretary of the concern noted. Tishchenko added that "even taking into account the difficult situation with oil supplies, the plants provide oil products to all gas stations, including subsidiaries of Russian companies".
"There have been repeated proposals to go on tolling schemes, but so far they have not been accepted", the spokesman said. Tishchenko also commented on the information of representatives of one of the networks of Russian gas stations about the possibility of buying fuel in neighboring countries. “In this case, we are talking only about small volumes, daily consumption of oil products,” the spokesman for the concern explained.
The day before, Reuters reported that gas station networks of Russian oil companies in Belarus could start purchasing fuel in neighboring countries due to a shortage of oil products.
