OREANDA-NEWS Servicemen of the Air Force and air defense forces of Belarus are leaving for the Russian Federation to participate in a joint operational and tactical exercise with live firing, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reports on the Telegram channel.

"Military personnel of the Air Force and air defense forces are leaving for the Russian Federation to participate in a joint operational and tactical exercise with live firing," the department reports.

It is noted that right now the personnel of the units are flying on board the IL-76MD. Previously, some units were withdrawn by railway military echelons.

"During the exercise, which will take place at the Ashuluk training ground, the military personnel will increase the level of coordination of units, as well as work out new tactical techniques and methods of conducting anti-aircraft and aerial combat," the Belarusian Defense Ministry reports.
