OREANDA-NEWS   Relations between Russia and China are becoming more mature, independent and stable. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during a conference on the international situation in 2024 of Chinese diplomacy, RIA Novosti writes.

"Sino-Russian relations, following the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two states, are becoming more mature and stable, independent and strong every day," he said. According to Wang Yi, these relations have become an example of friendly exchanges between major powers and neighboring countries.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that strategic relations between Russia and China are at an unprecedented level of development. In particular, he recalled the regular contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

At the same time, according to Lavrov, they wanted to drive a wedge between Russia and China with false information that Beijing was allegedly unhappy with Moscow's rapprochement with the DPRK. The diplomat stressed that there is a "very positive dialogue" between Moscow and Beijing on this issue.
