OREANDA-NEWS. Fighting continued in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the Azerbaijani military have seized a number of strategic heights on the line of contact. This was reported by the country’s Defense Ministry. “In the Aghdara direction, our troops liberated the dominant heights of the enemy around Madaghiz, they are controlling this point,” the agency informed. The military destroyed five armoured personnel carriers and vehicles, three military infrastructure facilities and many servicemen, the Defense Ministry added.

Shushan Stepanyan, press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry, also reported that military operations along the entire line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh continued. “At about 07:55, air defense units of the Armenian forces hit an enemy airplane and a drone in the northeastern direction of Artsakh [Unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. – Ed.]. The fighting continues along the Artsakh border,” Stepanyan wrote on Facebook.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Nagorno-Karabakh, the situation in the conflict zone did not change significantly overnight.
