OREANDA-NEWS AvtoVAZ plans to keep prices up to 700 thousand rubles for the most budget-priced Lada Granta equipment until the end of the year, in the future it will be adjusted depending on inflation, Maxim Sokolov, the company's president, told RIA Novosti in an interview.

"We have a strict, controlled agreement with our dealers that such models are sold at the prices recommended by AvtoVAZ. During the purchase process, customers can buy mats, ask for additional decorative protection, noise protection, maybe even buy some accessories, but the base recommended price for Granta is below 700 thousand rubles. Until the end of this year, we will keep this initial price, but in the future, of course, we will adjust it depending on inflationary processes," he said, answering a question about prices for the most budget Granta equipment.

AvtoVAZ owns production sites in Togliatti, Izhevsk and St. Petersburg. In mid-May last year, French Renault transferred its stake in AvtoVAZ (67.69%) to the state ownership of the Russian Federation. Now the brand consists of four model families: Vesta, Largus, Granta and Niva. Sales of the brand's cars in 2022 amounted to 188.6 thousand cars (-46% by 2021).
