«I will try to kill Elizabeth, the head of the royal family. This is revenge for those who died in the massacre in 1919», the attacker says. «It is also revenge for those who were killed, humiliated and discriminated against because of their race», the media quotes him as saying.

It is noted that the suspect was referring to the Amritsar massacre in 1919, during which a demonstration of civilians in Amritsar in Punjab, Northern India, was shot by the colonial troops of the British Empire. 379 protesters were killed and about 1,200 people were injured.
