OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Prosecutor General's Office initiated criminal proceedings for mass contamination of the coronavirus at the wedding. This is reported on the website of the agency.

"In the Sverdlovsk region on the fact of infection of 28 citizens with coronavirus at the wedding ceremony the Prosecutor General's Office sent materials to the preliminary investigation units. Based on the results of their inspection, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the website of the General Prosecutor's Office said.

It turned out that the wedding took place in Kmyshlov. The pastor of the Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists married off his daughter. One of the guests was sick with coronavirus and infected everyone around. As a result, a little later in the hospital of Yekaterinburg from the coronavirus died 60-year-old woman who had been infected at the wedding. It became known that the girl who got married worked at the local emergency station, and her colleague died.

Evgeny Kuyvashev, the governor of the Sverdlovsk region, was outraged about the incident in his Instagram profile: "Everyone seems to be an adult, but, unfortunately, they walk, let children out on the street, they have noisy weddings... Today we have a dozen and a half people from the Kamyslovsky district who went to the wedding ceremony and brought the virus with them."
