OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister Pavel Filip along with President Nicolae Timofti and Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu today laid flowers at the monument to Ruler Stefan cel Mare. Attending the event were also cabinet members, MPs and creation people.   

Moldova today marks the 512nd anniversary of the passing away of Moldovan Ruler Stefan cel Mare. During 47 years of ruling, Stefan cel Mare waged 48 wars, of which 44 he won. The Moldovan Ruler died on 2 July 1504 at an age of more than 70.
