Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze Met with Ambassador of Israel in Ukraine
OREANDA-NEWS. Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Ukraine Eliab Belotserkovsky.
During the meeting the Ambassador Eliab Belotserkovsky noted that during international negotiations Israel always supported the stance of Ukraine regarding European and Euro-Atlantic integration and Russia's aggression. He also informed Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze about the assistance that the Embassy of Israel renders to Ukraine in the areas of agriculture and healthcare.
Eliab Belotserkovsky focused special attention on two priority areas of activities of the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine: psychological help for the people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, and rehabilitation of the military. The Ambassador noted that Israel has exceptional knowledge and experience in these matters and ready to share it with Ukraine.
In this context, according to him, it is viewed of peculiar importance to introduce a project of the center in which Israeli experts will train Ukrainian health professionals and provide them with professional support during direct patient care. In the center it is also planned to introduce a helpline for psychological first aid, for instance, for the ATO participants.
The Ambassador expressed hope that the centre would become for Ukraine a national project and the state will make every effort to implement it. Israel, in turn, is willing to provide such a facility with technological solutions, and its staff – with special knowledge and training.
Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze thanked the Ambassador Eliab Belotserkovsky for such valuable initiative for Ukraine. She added that for her part she would do her utmost to consolidate and coordinate the joint efforts of the Ukrainian and Israeli governments in this matter.
