The official representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, reported that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired on the city of Shusha and the town of Martuni in the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh on Thursday morning. “Early in the morning, the enemy resumed shelling of peaceful settlements in Artsakh [Armenian name of Nagorno-Karabakh. – Ed.]. In particular, Martuni and Shushi were fired from heavy guns,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

After midnight, it was relatively calm in the peaceful settlements, State Service for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh added. According to the agency, at dawn, the enemy resumed shelling civilians and infrastructure.

There is still no information about victims and destruction.
