OREANDA-NEWS. Armenia reported of violation of the ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired five artillery shells at positions in the southeastern direction, press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan wrote on her Telegram channel. Earlier that day, she informed that Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire in the northeastern direction of the front line.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan accused Armenia of violating the truce, stressing that Baku fully complies with the humanitarian ceasefire. The military department of the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh denied this information.

Before that, the head of the Armenian government, Nikol Pashinyan, announced Yerevan’s readiness to observe the ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.
