On Tuesday morning, The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired at the city of Shusha and the town of Martuni in the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh from heavy multiple rocket launchers Smerch. This was reported by the Armenian Unified Information Center under the cabinet of ministers.

“On the night of November 3, a relative calm remained in peaceful settlements. However, in the morning the enemy began to fire at Martuni and Shusha from the multiple rocket launchers Smerch. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties,” the message says.

The situation in the region escalated on September 27, active fighting began in the disputed territory. The parties reported of numerous killed and wounded, including people among the civilian population. Agreements on a ceasefire were reached three times, but almost immediately after negotiations the sides of the conflict began to accuse each other of violating truce.
