OREANDA-NEWS  The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the Zaporizhia nuclear Power Plant (ZAES) with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This was announced by the press service of the station in its Telegram channel.

As reported, the APU strikes fell on the areas of the cargo port and nitrogen-oxygen station number two of the NPP. It is noted that no damage to critical infrastructure has been noticed.

"Once again, we declare that it is unacceptable to fire at both the station itself and its infrastructure facilities," the station's press service stressed. The report emphasizes that as a result of the impact, the operation of the NPP was not disrupted, but the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may affect its further operation.

On April 4, the press service of the NPP announced the shutdown of one of the two Ferroalloy-1 high-voltage lines supplying the station. The press service of the NPP also noted that all units of the station have been stopped.
