OREANDA-NEWS. A fence from a construction site fell on an elderly woman in Kirov, the pensioner died in hospital from her injuries. This is reported by the regional investigation department of the IC of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, May 5.

The incident occurred on May 4 at about 14 o'clock near the house number 72 on Derendyaev Street. From a gust of wind the fence from a profiled flooring of a construction object of LLC «Biochemtrade» fell on the 79-year-old woman. She was taken to the hospital with injuries and fractures. Despite the help of doctors, the 79-year-old woman died. Investigators are conducting a pre-investigation check. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.

Earlier, a 19-year-old resident of Kirov was put on trial because he killed a 15-year-old teenager who was riding a bicycle. The driver of motorbike he did not have a driver's license. He was found guilty and sentenced to six years of imprisonment with serving the sentence in the colony of the settlement. The sentence has not entered into legal force.
