OREANDA-NEWS. In Moscow, near the State Duma building, police officers detained a member of the «Green Alternative» party, Alisa Goluenka, who was holding a rally there in a cat costume. This is reported by «MBH Media».

The action is timed to the April Fools' Day. The activist swept the dust from the fence near the building – she decided to «clean up the political olympus». The police interrupted the action and detained the girl to clarify her identity. The media does not say which department the activist was taken to, and whether she is charged with any offense.

«On the eve of the most humorous day of the year, activists of the «Green Alternative» party decided to clean up the political Olympus – an ecocot with a pipidaster in it's paw wiped the dust from the State Duma building on Okhotny Ryad. However, the cleaning impulses of the party cat were overshadowed by the detention at the State Duma. The guards did not appreciate the creativity», explained another activist of the «Green Alternative» Mikhail Gaidai.

According to him, the purpose of the action is to show, that the Duma parties «have long compromised themselves», and Russian politics should be «interesting, fun and bright». «Green Alternative» is a party registered in 2020 with an environmental agenda. It is headed by Ruslan Khvostov, a former coordinator of an environmental project within the pro-government youth movement «Local».
