OREANDA-NEWS   The Russian government will additionally allocate almost 10 billion rubles to pay for medical workers, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers on Monday, the official Telegram channel of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.

In 2025, it is planned to hire about 26 thousand qualified medical workers in the regions – more than 11 thousand doctors and more than 15 thousand average medical staff. The government will send almost 10 billion rubles to the regions in order to fully ensure the required payments.

"We hope that these resources will be brought to them as soon as possible and will help to successfully resolve issues with the employment of employees, thereby improving the quality of medical care throughout the country," Mishustin said.

The allocated funds will be distributed among the budgets of the territorial compulsory health insurance funds.
