OREANDA-NEWS. The online store AliExpress has launched a service for delivering goods to supermarkets of the X5Retail Group holding, which owns the Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and Karusel networks. Message AliExpress is at the disposal of the Russian media.

As follows from the message text, now, when placing an order, the buyer will be able to choose delivery to points of delivery located in the nearest stores of X5 Retail Group. Buyers will be able to receive their orders at Pyaterochka stores and at DPD and PickPoint pick-up points through pedestals or at special cash desks. Orders received at the cash desk will be stored in special online safes. To receive your parcel, the buyer will need to present his passport to the cashier and give the order number.

According to AliExpress, to launch the service, the Alibaba Group-owned logistics operator Cainiao opened a specialized warehouse designed to deliver the most popular range of goods to the online store. This measure allowed us to double the speed of delivery to remote and remote regions, due to which the average delivery time of orders was reduced to 20 days. In August, AliExpress allowed buyers to return purchased goods without explanation. The company expects that in this way it will be easier for customers to decide to purchase more expensive things.
