Alarm Triggered on ISS
OREANDA-NEWS. An alarm was triggered in the American segment of the International Space Station, cosmonaut Alexei Ovchinin told specialists of the Mission Control Center (MCC) near Moscow.
According to the astronaut, the siren howled due to the high oxygen content in the air in the Russian Zvezda module.
Roscosmos confirmed the fact that the alarm was triggered, noting that an increase in oxygen concentration in the air poses no threat.
Now the cosmonauts of Roscosmos Alexey Ovchinin and Alexander Skvortsov, NASA astronauts Nick Haig, Andrew Morgan and Christina Cook, as well as astronaut of the European Space Agency Luca Parmitano are working at the station.
In addition, the Soyuz MS-14 manned spacecraft with the Fedor robot on board was docked to the station.
