In addition, the authorities of Chinese province of Zhejiang announced that they have made Sinovac Biotec’s coronavirus vaccine available for emergency use in the region among high-risk groups. However, it is not known how many people received the drug.

On November 18, it was reported that, according to preliminary test results, Sinovac Biotec’s experimental vaccine CoronaVac causes a rapid immune response, but the level of antibodies it produces is significantly lower than in people who have had coronavirus. At the moment, the vaccine is in the third, final stage of clinical trials.
