OREANDA-NEWS A third of Russians refused to take a vacation in the summer of 2024. This is evidenced by the survey data of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTSIOM).

The study showed that 33 percent of the country's residents were left without rest. Most often they were men, employees of commercial organizations and people with poor and very poor financial situation.

Those who managed to take a break from work rested in dachas (22 percent) and at home (21 percent). Another 14 percent of respondents went to travel to another city or village, 8 percent spent time in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory, 4 percent abroad, 3 percent in Crimea.

Russians who could not go on vacation in the summer can save money on holidays during the velvet season. For example, in Anapa, vacation in autumn fell by a third.
