Most economically active Russians over the age of 18 years (72%) are considering the possibility of refusing to work with official registration in the state and switching to freelance, according to a survey. “In the modern economy, forms of employment are becoming more flexible. According to forecasts, in 10-20 years, up to 60% of the world's able-bodied population will work on freelance”, the expert noted.
As a result, as the survey showed, now a third of Russians have part-time jobs or even full-time jobs that theoretically allow them to be considered self-employed, Sberbank said in a statement. Of these, every sixth (17%) thus earns more than 40 thousand rubles. per month, another 9% - 30-40 thousand rubles, 13% - 20-30 thousand rubles, 21% - 10 thousand rubles, and 40% - less than 10 thousand rubles.
In addition, 20% fear that switching to freelance will lead to a decrease in their income, and another 11% consider the lack of an equipped workplace uncomfortable. Only 21% of respondents did not see any risks associated with financial instability or social insecurity as a result of switching to freelance.
