OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Transport is working to create a single portal of transport services "Russian Transport", which will unite all public and private companies, as well as minimize paper document flow. This was announced by the director of the Department of Digital Development of the department Dmitry Skachkov, whose words are quoted by the Parliamentary Newspaper. He noted that the service will not only help to build travel routes throughout the country, but will also take into account all the benefits of the user when buying tickets.

"The Russian Transport portal will allow passengers traveling to any region not to waste time searching for reliable carriers and some local applications for paying for transport services. He will immediately go to the "Russian Transport" and see all the digital services that the region provides. And here he will be able to build his multimodal trip as conveniently as possible," explained Skachkov.

He added that the corresponding mobile application has already been created. Currently, according to him, there is a run-in of individual services, including fare payments. In parallel, work continues on possible amendments to the legislation.

Earlier, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport Maxim Liksutov said that this year there will be twice as many transfer stations from the Moscow Central Diameters (MDC) to the Moscow Central Ring (MCC).
