OREANDA-NEWS  A resident of Chelyabinsk sued the utilities for hundreds of thousands of rubles for a slippery yard. This was told in the press service of the regional department of the Federal Bailiff Service (GU FSSP).

The incident occurred in February 2023 in the Kalininsky district of the city. An elderly woman was returning home in the evening, slipped and fell on her right hip in the house territory, which was not cleared of snow and ice. She felt a sharp pain and was unable to get up on her own. An ambulance was called to the pensioner, doctors diagnosed her with a hip fracture. A local resident underwent surgery, after which she was on outpatient treatment. The woman needed long-term rehabilitation to recover from a severe injury.

The victim filed a lawsuit against the management company and demanded compensation from the organization for moral damage and reimbursement of medical expenses. As a result, the court ruled to recover compensation for material and moral damage in the amount of 613 thousand rubles in favor of the victim.

Due to the fact that the management company was in no hurry to pay the money, the executive document was submitted for enforcement to the bailiff service department for work with debtors — legal entities. Employees of the regional State Department of the FSSP collected funds from the accounts of the Criminal Code, after which they transferred them to the injured woman.

In March, it was reported that in Surgut, public utilities paid hundreds of thousands of rubles for a flimsy swing.
