OREANDA-NEWS In Turkey, rescuers and police are looking for a Russian tourist, 48-year-old Natalia Somova, Sabah reports.

The Russian woman, who came to Marmaris on August 11, left the hotel three days ago and went for a walk along the Kara Trail, a popular hiking route. Since then, nothing is known about Somova.

The tourist was supposed to return to Russia on August 19, but this did not happen. Relatives were unable to contact the traveler and contacted the travel agency and the hotel.

Marmaris police officers reviewed the surveillance footage and found that Natalia left the hotel at 7.30 am on August 17, heading for the Karian trail.

Rescuers and police have launched a search operation. They are combing an area of 11 kilometers. So far, neither specialists nor service dogs have found any traces of the missing woman.
