OREANDA-NEWS In Kursk, the court arrested a 42-year-old man who opened fire from a machine gun in a store. 

Igor Chernomortsev will be in jail until November 4.

According to the agency, the Russian attacked an employee of the store with an object similar to a Kalashnikov assault rifle in front of other visitors. This happened during a counter-terrorism operation in the Kursk region. In the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region "Tape.<url>" clarified that the attacker stole alcohol. It is noted that no one was injured.

A criminal case was opened against the man under part 2 of Article 162 ("Robbery") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Now he faces up to ten years in prison.
