OREANDA-NEWS A new draft educational standard of higher education has been developed, it will allow building individual educational trajectories for students, as well as obtaining several qualifications at once, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said at the meeting.

"A new layout of the federal state educational standard of higher education has also been developed for an enlarged group of specialties and training areas. It will make it possible to build individual educational trajectories of students, as well as provide the opportunity to obtain several qualifications," Chernyshenko said during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

He recalled that on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a new national system of higher education is being implemented in the country, and a pilot project involving six universities began on September 1, 2023.
Chernyshenko noted that the pilot project provides for the creation of new levels of higher education - basic higher education, specialized and postgraduate - vocational education.
