OREANDA-NEWS  Air defense means have stopped a new attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to attack Russian territory. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry in Telegram.

As specified in the department, at about 10:40 a.m. Moscow time, the military on duty shot down a Ukrainian aircraft-type drone over the territory of the Belgorod region. The Defense Ministry did not disclose details about the area of the drone's destruction and the consequences on the ground.

Earlier, the agency also reported an attempt at a night attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region. Then three APU drones, also belonging to the aircraft type, were destroyed over the Belgorod region.

In addition, on the night of July 24, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that a Ukrainian drone dropped explosives near an apartment building in Grayvoron. As a result, windows were blown out in one of the apartments. There are no preliminary casualties.
